How to update your shop

  1. Tap ➕ Add a new item. Type the name and price, then tap 📷 Take a photo and fix it up.
  2. Tap ✏️ Change on any item to fix the name, price, or photo.
  3. Tap ❌ Sold out when it's gone. Tap ✅ Back in stock when you have more.
  4. Tap the shop name, the hello message, the mission, or "How to find us" to change the words.
  5. Tap ➕ Add a teammate to add your friends to the team. Every teammate gets their own binder.
  6. Open 📖 Binders, pick your binder, and tap ➕ Add a card. Pick For sale or Trade only for each card.
  7. When you're finished, tap 🚀 Put it online at the bottom and follow the steps.

Shoppers never see the Edit button. To edit on the live site, add #edit to the end of the web address and enter the shop PIN.

🔁 Make a trade offer

Add up to 3 photos of what you're offering
Your info only goes to the shop's grown-ups so they can reply. No trade happens until both sides agree.

How people pay

A grown-up's accounts go here. Leave a box empty to hide it. Customers tap an item and pick one of these.
Customers type their card on Stripe's secure page. Needs the Stripe key set up in Netlify by a grown-up.
Customers can pay with a debit/credit card, no PayPal account needed. Get one at paypal.me.
A Stripe or Square payment link that lets the customer type the amount.
Added to shipped orders. $5 covers a small USPS package or padded envelope with tracking.
Venmo asks first-time payers to confirm the last 4 digits of your phone number. Putting them here lets customers pay without calling you.
Customers type this into their bank app under "Send with Zelle". Easiest way to pay with Zelle.

Put your shop online

  1. Tap ⬇️ Download. You get a file called shop-data.js.
  2. Put it in the website folder (squish-site), replacing the old shop-data.js. Never touch index.html.
  3. A grown-up drags the folder onto Netlify. Done — everyone sees the new shop.
  4. 💾 Save a backup makes an extra dated copy any time.
